Specialties: I work with clients to be the strongest, best-sleeping, least-stressed out version of themselves (with the biggest biceps ever). My workouts are designed around progressive increases in strength designed to stabilize then challenge you. I’m proud that clients come to me for a few sessions and stay for years (even a decade). I understand the unique demands of dealing with stress and inflammation. I work with former and current athletes who want to maintain their strength, as well as peri and menopausal women, my type A achievers, and those overwhelmed with careers and/or high intensity fitness regimens. Want to be strong enough to let life’s adventures inspire you without fear of pain? Then you are my ideal client.
All of my clients deserve to be welcomed in the body they have within an inclusive environment, and treated like the athletes that they are. My goal as your trainer is to help you develop a positive and enriching relationship with fitness, while making sure you are in shape to tackle everything from climbing out of the car to climbing up a mountain.
I am a non-diet trainer. Weight loss goals will never be the center of your journey. Increased muscle mass is a much better goal, and it’s linked to longevity and vitality.
I am an avid hiker, mountain biker, yogi, and strength lover. I’m proud to have mountain biked the Whole Enchilada in Utah, hiked the Presidential Traverse in New Hampshire, climbed many mountains in Colorado, and adventured in Germany, Scotland, and Madeira. I believe in what I preach…functional strength matters.
